Where there’s fiction, there are always some facts to back things up.
To us, the scariest films we have ever seen have been “The Shining” and “Rosemary’s Baby.”
“The Shining” was a relentless horror.
“Rosemary’s Baby” was your typical Roman Polanski psychological horror and which “lived” with you long after the movie had ended.

What happened to Polanski’s then – wife – actress Sharon Tate – at the hands of that madman Charles Manson’s followers, makes “Rosemary’s Baby” even more scary.
Known even today as a serial womanizer, they say that Tate was Polanski’s only true love.
Watching this movie today, real life and reel life become inter-twined.
You almost need to walk away and take a breather.
We’re not sure, if “Rosemary’s Baby” or “The Shining” were based on any true stories, but, they say that these were.
