The new way of looking at horse racing

ALL-WEATHER RACES OR ALL-BOTHER RACES?

(Source: NY Times)

To most punters, all-weather races are all-bother races as there can be such big form reversal depending on the going of the track. Sloppy all-weather tracks are the most difficult to figure out.

Still, racing is racing and racing on the all-weather track has seen a number of winners emerge from three trainers- the stables of Michael Chang, Caspar Fownes and John Size.

On Monday, there is a Cup race on the all-weather track that has entries from these three trainers.

Fownes has entered the reliable Green Zone, a very inexpensive purchase by Sam The Tailor and which has definitely made a tidy profit for its famous owner.

John Size has entered Hypersonic which shows it has quite a bit of upside left whereas Michael Chang enters Danewin Tiger.

Of course, this is no three horse race as, like we mentioned, these all-weather races can always throw up an upset- or three.
