“The Voice” has fired Christina Aguilera.
Why?
Perhaps the Producers heard her muddle her way through singing the National Anthem?

Now, apparently, they are trying to fill the void by bringing in Lady Gaga as a replacement.
Fat chance.
Meanwhile, does anyone anymore know who the judges are on “X Factor”?
Let me re-phrase that: Does anyone really care.
From last season’s “American Idol”, Pia Toscano has released her first single and video in which she tousles her hair a great deal and vamps to camera.
She also seems to have had some work done on her upper lip and nose.
But, does anyone care anymore?
The music?
Formulaic crap.
On the subject of “Idol” alumni, who the hell is making it, anyway?
We haven’t even heard ticky boo from Steven Tyler and his single flopped.
He’s probably had it with television talent shows?
Perhaps he really did get fed up of J-Lo and her diva tantrums?
Only J-Lo is parlaying her “Idol” presence to creating and producing her own television properties.
Lee DeWyze can barely get a gig in a small shipping mall in the States and which is why he’s “available” to come out to Asia.
Most who cannot get gigs back home are “available” to come out to Asia – David Archuleta, Kris Allen etc.
Even those with real talent like Adam Lambert are finding it tough to make any NEW in roads in the US.
Perhaps – finally – audiences have tired of all these television talent shows?
Once on air, they have “top of mind awareness” and “stars” are made and have their 15 minutes of fame.
Once the season ends, it’s a question of here today, gone tomorrow.
Andy Warhol would have loved the immediacy of these shows.
Remember the armless kid in China who won China’s Got Talent and could only play the piano with his feet?
Not to be cruel but how many gigs would he get?
And how big would his repertoire be?
He’s all feet took on a whole new meaning.
Same with the fat Chinese kid who sang like a girl: Who would buy his record and why the hell was he signed to a recording deal?
No, mercifully, perhaps we have come to the end of that long line of fast food artists.
The success of Gungor bear this out.
They are fucking brilliant!
Listen to the UK’s Ed Sheeran.
Soon, you’ll be listen to some new music from Ben Semmens.
Fads may come and go.
Good music and fans of good music last forever.
Some people should have those words tattooed on their asses.
