David Ferraris is having a great start to the season with three wins on the board including training the first winner of the new racing season.
That winner was Amazing Always which also gave new jockey Karis Teetan a dream start to his stint in Hong Kong.
This same combination take their place again on Sunday at Shatin as does Clement Spirit which is another last start winner.
At its first run of the season for trainer Danny Shum after leaving the stable of Almond Lee, the horse won like a good thing when ridden by Douglas Whyte who has a unique knack of getting on horses when primed and ready to win.
It’s a small miracle that Whyte hasn’t been able to talk Ferraris into giving him the ride on Amazing Always after the duo combined to ride a double on Tuesday at Happy Valley.
