As you know, we at the Fast Track team always root for the underdogs.
And though we are loathe to call ladies “underdogs”, this is exactly what happened last weekend when the European team won The Solheim Cup – the Women’s equivalent of the Ryder Cup.
The beautiful Killeen Castle course in Ireland proved to be the perfect setting for this bi-annual event,
And what a huge upset it was!
For the first time since 2003, the European Ladies defeated the almighty American female golfers team which included our favourite- and definitely the sexiest female golfer ever – Michelle Wie.

Better luck next time in Colorado in 2013, Michelle!
It was a nail-biting stuff going right down to the very last hole in the very last match.
This was where Spaniard Azahara Munoz defeated Angela Stanford and registered a narrow yet historic 15-13 victory for Team Europe.
European golf is on an all-time high at present, being the holders of both the Ryder AND Solheim Cups!
