The new way of looking at horse racing

GLORIOUS DAYS AHEAD

We already are planning what to do when John Size wins this year’s Trainers Championship.

The gentleman trainer and superb horseman has some real new stars in his stable destined for great things.

Two of these are Fay Fay which won so convincingly last Sunday and Glorious Days.

The latter steps out on Saturday and to score a hat-trick of win and which will give the galloper a huge leg-up to run in the Classic Mile.

The Hong Kong Classic Mile is held on 25th January 2012 and John Size has, without a doubt, penciled in Glorious Days starting in this race.

But first, this very talented galloper has to win on Saturday and in Race 10.

Unbeaten in two starts in Hong Kong and with both having been won with almost arrogance, his ratings have increased from 68 to 95- and ratings can stop trains.

Still, we think Glorious Days has a number of rating points in hand and will continue to improve.

We are not into time and sectionals as these can be aided by strong tailwinds, the pace of the race etc.

Remember how excited some got when another John Size horse- Supreme Jewellery- clocked a time in Class 4 that equaled the time of a Class 1 winner?

But as someone much smarter than us pointed out, there was a strong tailwind that day and which made the performance of Supreme Jewellery flattering.

And look how disappointing it has been since that first run.

But whether it’s times, sectionals etc, we go on what we have seen and how Douglas Whyte has ridden Glorious Days: It has never been pushed out.

There has always been much left in the tank.

FASTTRACK

The new way of looking at horse racing

The world of entertainment today is vast, it cannot be defined, it is intertwined and has become one. One cannot, for example, have music without fashion- and vice versa. Rock Stars, supermodels, actors and actresses and sports heroes have formed Mutual Admiration Societies.

On www.fasttrack.hk, you will see Who’s In, Who’s Out, What’s Hot and What’s Not- in Hong Kong and the rest of the world- in English and Chinese. It’s all ballsy stuff that breaks new ground and tells it like it is. The gloves are off.

Fast Track is the authority and driving force to steer you along the edgy road to this new world of entertainment.. Of course, there will be our opinions- off-the-wall, to-the-point and no waffle.

More important to us is what you think. Really think. Agree, disagree, or tell us to take a hike. As long as it’s a hike on the fast track of life, it doesn’t matter.
