One of the best performed horses this season has been Green Eagle which has won twice on the trot and has built up a great partnership with jockey Weichong Marwing.
Marwing hasn’t exactly been having a stellar season to date with winners hard to come by as he hasn’t had many good horses to ride.
Green Eagle is an exception and you can bet your last dollar that the jockey will want to hold on to this ride as one feels there is plenty of upside left.
On Sunday, in Race 10 at Shatin, Green Eagle clashes with two other last start winners in Sterling City and King Of Reason.
The latter, we’re unsure about, but the last start win of Sterling City was exceptional and John Moore should have this ruined primed for another win.
Moore also has Flash Knight entered in the same race and which was way under the odds at its last start and sorely in need of the run which also carrying topweight and a bad barrier draw to contend with.
It should have benefitted from its last run whereas Moore will be trying to erase the memory of last weekend when he entered another army of horses but without training a winner.
We hear that supporters of the stable really did their money in! Will they make it all back in Race 10 at Shatin?
Perhaps, but we’ll be sticking with Green Eagle and watch it take flight through the grades.
