How to have a Happy Wednesday is easy for us: We simply go down to the Happy Valley Racecourse whenever the races are on- NO RACES THIS WEDNESDAY!- and become part of the Best Night Out In Hong Kong.
It’s social networking where people actually communicate with other people- face to face- and meeting some of the most interesting people we have met in Hong Kong and have never seen anywhere else other than at a Happy Wednesday. People like this Dutch beauty.
Yes, it’s music, different venues, great racing under the stars, a crowd as cosmopolitan as Hong Kong itself, various other events to be part between the races and for just a $10 entrance fee, the city’s Big Night Out.
If there’s Facebook, then this is Racebook and with something for everyone at venues like the Club called Adrenaline, the restaurant that is The Gallery, the more relaxed Stable Bend and, of course, the Beer Garden where everything happens, where everyone meets and everyone inter-acts and becomes one. And with no yobbish behaviour.
