Remember when Singapore was known by some as Singabore?
When Cliff Richard was stopped from entering as his hair was too long?
When chewing gum was an offense.
When having sex in the privacy of your room but seen by neighbours could result in you being flogged?
Well, forget all that: Singapore has grown up.
It has the best restaurants, Clubs and bars in all of Asia.
It has uninhibited women.
It was one of the biggest Gay scenes in the world.
And not underground either.
It has casinos; there is the Singapore Turf Club.
It is the International media capital of Asia.
Sure, many of the people are still robotic.
And sure, many of the expats living the expat life over there are completely overrated and useless.
But, in 2012, Singapore- heaven forbid- host Judas Priest who’ll be playing there along with American Metallers Lamb Of God.
