Sorry, but INXS without Michael Hutchence is like the Stones without Mick Jagger and toast without jam.
We remember watching in horror at that reality show a few years ago when the band auditioned for a replacement for Michael and the winner was the ghastly J.D. Fortune.
Fortune came, went, came again and has now, gone again.
The fourth lead singer since the untimely passing of the fiercely charismatic Michael Hutchence is an Irishman named Ciaran Gribbin.
To be fair, the guy has an impressive CV.
Though we wish him the best, we’re really uninterested in the band going through such INXS classic like “Suicide Blonde”, “New Sensation” and “Need You Tonight” without Michel Hutchence.
He was one of a kind and without him, this is not INXS.
It is yet another sound-alike band trying to make a few bucks.
Pass.
