The last race for 2012 takes place at Happy Valley on Friday and it promises to be a real Happy Friday and with plenty of activities throughout the course.
Of course, the main attraction is the racing and many eyes will be on Sterling City (R8, #1) in Race 8.
This John Moore-trained galloper has a, well, sterling record in Shatin, but has never raced or even trialled at Happy Valley.
Yet the wily trainer whose horses won the last three races on Saturday and has just moved to new stables sure has his horses ready to fire and has used his trump card to ensure Sterling City (R8, #1) gets a start in this race.
Though some say that Imperial Roma (R8, #2) will be its main danger, we lean towards one of our favorite horses running in Hong Kong- the Caspar Fownes-trained Best Win (R8, #8) which really should have won more races than it has to date.
Perhaps we’ll see a battle of these two?
