Continuing our guide on how to get the most out of Longines HKIR Week, we asked one of our favourite ladies- HKJC Paddock Parade expert- Jenny Chapman- for her Top Ten favourite restaurants and bars in Hong Kong…
Tried this one last night.
BC121
44 Peel Street
Soho
Was so good. Had the banquet menu, which is basically 10 Tapas plates. Was delicious and will definitely return.
Really like the Italian restaurant in Lan Kwai Fong Hotel: Capone’s
Foods great, décor cool, waiters are terrific and the music suits the venue perfectly. A little expensive, but good.
Lei Garden, Times Square for lunch
Delicious Dim Sum.
Guru for great Indian.
Matsubishi for great Japanese
Souvla in Lan Kwai Fong for bigger tables & good casual Tapa’s style dishes
Mandarin Grill consistently good.
Otto et Mezzo Bombana and Nicholini’s at the Conrad: Italian at a price, but terrific.
22 Ships Ship St Wan Chai. (If you can get in)
Ozone Bar to watch HK go from day to night. Expensive cocktails, but worth it.
Happy Valley Bar & Grill: Just a casual bar close to Happy Valley Racecourse.
