The new way of looking at horse racing

JOY AND FUN FOR THE ENTIRE TEAM!

It’s our favourite horse racing in Hong Kong and, today, it again, proved why: Joy And Fun is tough as old boots and we cheered when this eight-year-old took out the second leg of the Hong Kong Sprint Series by winning the Chairman’s Sprint Prize today at 10 to 1.

While the favourite- Lucky Nine, probably now needs further than 1200 metres and ran on well enough into second place, Brett Doyle, who stayed behind in Hong Kong purely to continue his partnership with Joy And Fun, had his horse travelling sweetly. When it kicked, that was it and hats off to Trainer Derek Cruz for staying with this great horse, nursing it back to health when its career looked finished after a serious accident in the UK and now coming back and showing that age matters squat when it’s all about being all heart and having a never-say-die attitude.

What a horse, what a jockey, what a trainer, what great connections in owners Mr and Mrs Johnny Wong and what great teamwork.

Now, THIS is what horse racing is all about- teamwork- and the Joys and Fun of the sport!

Dubai, here they come!
