On Monday, the venue had a very young Chamber Music quartet putting us- three tables- to sleep despite their enthusiasm for the music of Mozart.

Last night was a bizarre Canto-pop karaoke session where absolutely crap amateurs got up onstage and killed the ears and minds of regulars to Peel Fresco who quickly bolted thinking they had walked into the wrong place.

This great little venue in Peel Street is meant to be a gathering place for those looking for an alternative to the regular venues showcasing awful ‘live’ music.
But with the horrendous musical showcases heard there this week, the best thing about going to Peel Fresco is being able to order food from Tangerine, the Thai restaurant next door with its delicious Spicy Beancurd with Basil and Satay Shots.
