When Lionel Ritchie is out-selling you and you are Lady Madonna and 50-years-old and desperately trying to be relevant, you need to do something. Like what? Like write a horrible little song record it with Pictch Control all over the place and make the video “outrageous” and “controversial.”
Is it really “outrageous and controversial”? Nah.
It’s all rather sad and passé- a middle-aged woman who is fast- dissolving into “Nora Desmond”.
Next from Mrs.Madonna? some song called “Gang Bang” and which she would like Quentin Tarantino to direct.
He, too, needs something to make him relevant again so it all makes sense.
Watch out for Miss Gaga to outdo Mrs. Madonna by bringing out a video in 3-D directed by James Cameron for a song called, “F*** Me, I Love It.”
All very sad and nothing to do with music.
