The new way of looking at horse racing

PREBBLE SET TO ROAR BACK THIS WEEKEND!

It feels like it’s been a low-key return to the saddle for Brett Prebble after his nasty fall. But perception and reality are two very different things.

With Douglas Whyte storming ahead to win his twelfth consecutive Jockey Premiership, we have not seen that rivalry between Prebble and the Douglas Demon which many have come to expect in the past few seasons.

There has also been the emergence of Zac Purton as a major player in the jockeys rankings, all of which has dimmed the spotlight somewhat from Prebble.

However, Brett Prebble seems to be focused on other matters- and has been seen them coming true.

He has, for example, won a number of Cup races since his comeback.

Recently, we have also seen him forge a strong relationship with trainer John Moore- and win The Chairman’s Trophy aboard Moore’s Admiration.

With Moore’s stable jockey- Darren Beadman- sidelined after a fall and Jeff Lloyd leaving Hong Kong soon, the Prebble- Moore partnership gathers steam.

On the weekend at Happy Valley, Prebble has some outstanding chances.

With Douglas Whyte suspended, Sunday could see Brett Prebble make his presence felt very strongly at his happy hunting grounds which has always been Happy Valley.
