It’s called the CSL Million Challenge and, in the simplest explanation possible, this annual Challenge is to find The King Of Turf at the Happy Valley Racecourse which is launched with the ringing of a bell.
It’s all based on designated races, a points system with those who benefit most from this, of course, being those who own the horses that perform best in these races.
Right now, Pleasure Gains and Bullish Boy are first and second in this competition and clash this Happy Wednesday night where Music Rocks The Valley is coming to an end with its Rap Offs, dancers, The Ben Semmens Band and a chance to appear on the Finding Happy Wednesday series with hosts Justin, Sarika and Nicole- Mrs Zac Purton.
Having ridden another treble, this time at Shatin on Sunday where he won the Hong Kong Classic Mile aboard the John Moore-trained Able Friend, all eyes will be on the brilliant Brazilian jockey Joao Moreira.
Moreira, known as The Magic Man, has taken Hong Kong racing by storm and is the main attraction at the races and will have his conga line of followers on Wednesday.
