There’s a real hole in the wall called Tantra in Grahame Street, Soho, that is worth checking out purely to see a very weird part of Hong Kong- older married women, who are hardly milfs, but more like molfs- and drunk like skunks- and young uns flirting with some very strange social ills.
Meanwhile, the Manageress of a long-time feathery club has sent a letter recently to many venues in Soho about someone she describes- very wrongly- as “The Wolf Of Staunton” and looks like being slapped with a defamation of character suit.
On a more positive note, Soirée in Lower Elgin Street, the intimate club that though having a decor like it, caters to a younger and far more attractive female clientele than the oldies at Feather Boa, has, after months of some very quiet nights, appears to be going through a renaissance period.
In a city where only the hard-to-find shots bar Geronimo in LKF has an assortment of hassle-free and attractive females who are good company, Soirée is offering an extremely good option- and I’ll drink to that.
