It’s “The Year Of The Doors,” in very many ways one of the most underrated Rock bands ever- at least outside of the US and France.
They merged Jazz and Rock and Jim Morrison’s poetry with few even realizing what the hell they were doing.
The Doors were way ahead of the curve and coming from Left Field.
Jim Morrison was and still is a Rock icon who was the inspiration for so many lead singers.
He was cool, he was dangerous, he could growl when he sang, he could whisper and he would let the music take him into some dark places.
And how the women loved him.

Sometimes, he would get so carried away he would expose himself onstaeand get arrested in the process and was named “The Lizard King” for obvious reasons.
If Robert Plant of Led Zep had his “Percy”, Morrison had his very large “Lizard.”
