Hard to imagine that four short years ago, it was called “Sassy Wednesday” with the Valley not exactly being “The Happy place where music plays.”

Top American Jazz guitarist Lee Ritenour will be dropping by Adrenaline tonight and could very well sit in with singer Jennifer Palor and the resident band. Omen Bet: Ritenour plays a Gibson guitar. Massive Move in Race 5 is trained by Richard Gibson.

The puzzler here was watching the Three Amigos- and not at 1.30am on HKTVB’s graveyard slot, but the navigational hazard that is the Racing To Win extravagonzola online- and not quite understanding this: None of the Three Amigos had Peace And Prosperity in their top three picks, but, Holy Crap, Brettman, there it was as the Banker for their suggested Quartet!
Then again, we hardly watch the Three Amigos for their thoughts and tips. It’s purely to see the size of the knots on their ties, listen to that snazzy Muzak played in the background, and see whether they’ve nodded off.
Will we hear the Three Amigos tonight-somewhere on some channel- and see Jenny From The Paddock? No idea. Not to miss anything, we’ll be on-course with the human NICAM people at the Beer Garden. All that manoeuvring to find the J2 channel on the weekend left us bewitched, bothered, bewildered, and with no sight of a channel for English language speakers. The HKJC Gong Show continues.
