We’ve been having desperate calls from different people over the past few days with something to flog: Lady Gaga tickets in Hong Kong.
Guess they’ve been hording them for months and now see that there are no takers.
But here’s another joke to the con about these shows having been “sold out” and then Moses or the guy upstairs at Live Nation- the promoters and partners in hype- suddenly finding three EXTRA days for Miss Gaga to strut her stuff in Hong Kong:
From trying to flog $1,500 tickets for HK$5,000, the price has now come down to HK$1,800.
Sorry, but we have no time for Lady Gaga, a mediocre talent and who is all about style (?) more than any musical substance.
She is Madonna without the varicose veins and turkey neck and with only some tweets for company.
As for the Hong Kong media going on about “Gagamania”, please, give us a break: We have seen some of her fan and they are 12 to 14 year old “Little Monsters” hanging around her hotel and dressed like their idol.
Do we like moppets singing along to songs made “famous” by The Gaga with titles like “Judas”?
Not to be prudes or over-zealous religious nutters, but we don’t go for all this forced “outrageousness”.
In fact, we don’t go for this Gaga woman at all.
It’s all fakery and other forms of media manipulation and the sooner she leaves Asia in her private jet, the air will just be more clean.
