Long before almost everyone just had to have an iPhone, and years before apps, Instagram, and living in the twitterverse, Evelyne Sieber was capturing the world around her with her iPhone.

Of course, everyone these days takes photos with their phones with the need to be in selfies being at the top of many lists. But for the Swiss-born and Hong Kong-based Sieber, what she saw through her iPhone- and captured for posterity and the sheer passion for creating- were shapes and forms and graphics and people and faces and everything in-between.

From January 11 to February 6, The IPhone Art of Evelyne Sieber will be on display at the Culture Club Gallery located at 15 Lower Elgin Street in Soho as part of her Lens Magic exhibition.

Let’s hope those at Apple see this art- and it reaches the desk of the brand’s Chief Executive Officer Tim Cooke. This is work that gives the iPhone a creative edge- and shows us what a creative product it can be to create other creative product. Steve Jobs would be extremely proud of this work and this passion from Evelyne Sieber- the work off a very serious hobbyist.
