Dortmund are the defending Bundesliga champions this year having won the German championship in the 10/11 season.

But then we read this from the web: “Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund have announced a 37 percent increase in revenue and a 9.5 million-euro profit for the 2010/11 season.”

WHAT? JUST 9.5 million-euro profit? That’s peanuts in the football world. We’d expect more from a championship team.


9.5M Euros – Maybe they could sign Fabregas’ left foot. Or they could sign Messi’s boots. Or just maybe they could sign C. Ronaldo’s overly greased mane.
