The new way of looking at horse racing

The Scariest Movies Of All Time

ROSEMARY’S BABY (1968)

It’s more what director Roman Polanski hinted at and which one didn’t see that was the scariest. The rest listed below, pale in comparison.

THE OMEN (1976)

The music, more of THAT music and the spooky kid.

THE EXORCIST (1973)

Make a movie like this and you are doomed. Where is Linda Blair today?

THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT (1999)

Scary to many-not us- but needs to be on this list.

NIGHTMARE ALLEY (1947)

A black and white classic starring Tyrone Power and about circus freaks and fake mind-readers. It was like watching Bob Dylan’s “Desolation Row”.

PSYCHO (1960)

Not so much ‘cos of the “shower scene” but more to do with Anthony Perkins speaking to “Mother” and being plain spooky.

THE SHINING (1980)

The only movie where the words, “Here’s Johnnnny!” made you jump as you went mad along with Jack Nicholson.

ALIEN (1979)

We were only barely Okay as one of the tallest actresses around- Sigourney Weaver- was cast to play “Ripley” and keep us- the audience- safe.

CAPE FEAR (1991)

Robert De Niro was THE THING that wouldn’t die and evil personified.

THE THING (1982)

Director John Carpenter’s version of an apocalyptical world and which was released at the same time as Steven Spielberg’s “E.T.” Guess which one flopped at the box office?
