The first night meeting in the Year Of The Horse at Happy Valley on Wednesday is certain to attract a packed house with a real Lunar New Year carnival atmosphere going on.
From a racing point of view, apart from the legion of Joao Moreira fans coming to see their favorite Magic Man, the 1010 Million Challenge continues.
Though still confusing to race-goers, this Challenge is to find Happy Valley’s equine King Of The Turf through horses competing for points in designated races and, of course, popular with those owners and their horses with winning chances.
One of these with an outside chance is Charity Joy, a reasonable good sprinter when in the mood.
Sure, the race is worth watching but even more interesting is to watch the expressions of those owners with a chance to win this Million Challenge.
