It’s not just hotting up, the gloves are off! Despite many thinking that the Brazilian magic man Joao Moreira would ride six winners on Sunday, he came away with a creditable treble with the Aussie Zac Attack- Zac Purton- answering with a double.
This means that the Magic Man leads the Hong Kong Jockey Premiership table by just three winners. And with him suspended and sitting out the next two meetings, the odds of another successful Zac Attack being launched this Happy Wednesday at Happy Valley Racecourse are high. Very high!
Having said this, Joao Moreira will be back in action next week. He’s not going to give away his title just like that…
This is horse racing being taken to another level. It’s competitive. It’s exciting. And this ding dong battle is going to go down to the wire!
