Frankly, we don’t have a clue.
All we know is that combination of John Moore and jockey Darren Beadman won another Cup race at Shatin in Hong Kong.
This time, it was the Chevalier Cup.
When it comes to winning these Cup races, Moore has got it down to a fine art.
Chasing Trainers Championships?
Sure he cares about them.
But he seems more determined to win Cup races for his owners and who then get so chuffed, they purchase better and more expensive horses.
On Sunday, not only did Moore train the winner in Leading City.
He also trained the second place-getter in Captain Sweet who ran an almighty big race after drawing a wide barrier and with apprentice Vincent CY Ho aboard.
Yes, yes, it was Moore The Merrier.
But know what? We won’t be following much of the form from this race.
There were some hard-luck stories and a few overrated horses in the race.
