The new way of looking at horse racing

WHAT’S UNDER MR. BMW DERBY’S HAT – WHYTE STICKS WITH GOLD-FUN, RISPOLI JUMPS ON BL

After the trial a few days ago, some are starting to wonder if Akeed Mofeed is as unbeatable as once thought though trainer Richard Gibson has always insisted that the horse is a lazy worker.

The trial was won by Autumn Gold ridden by Douglas Whyte and which looked certain to be his Derby ride until he jumped back on Gold-Fun and which have surprised a few people.

Elsewhere, Zac Purton will be on Garlic Boy while it remains to be seen if the other Gibson runner- Mizani- it takes its place in the Derby field.

Meanwhile, Caspar Fownes will be looking for races to ensure that his very impressive Blazing Speed gets enough rating points so it’s eligible for the Derby. The jockey booked for the ride? Umberto Rispoli.

The horse most are now talking up is John Moore’s Poetic Justice.

Interestingly, the connections of the horse had booked a private box to attend the races on the weekend but put in a no-show no doubt because the horse was not ready. It looked slightly porky.

Watch this horse’s connections there for the running of the Classic Cup and, of course, the Derby.
