Now that the draw has been held, what do you expect to happen at next year’s Euro Cup?
Of course we’re looking forward to see the best attacking team, Spain play against the best defensive team, Italy.
We’re also happy to see two of the best national team in the world, with different playing styles, play against each other, Germany vs Netherlands.
There’s no doubt everyone is keeping a close eye on hot favourite, Spain. The outright odds for Spain is just 3.0, while for Germany it’s 4.2 and for Netherlands it’s 5.5.
While I will never doubt Spain’s ability, but soccer is a sport that also and always depends on luck.
Always bear in mind – the winner isn’t always the team that plays best. A little bit of luck can go a long way. How well are other teams going to play? Who’ll sustain an injury? Will a team score enough goals to win on aggregate, should it come down to it?
These first round matches should really set the tone of the tournament.
When France won both the 1998 World Cup and 2000 Euro Cup, they made history. As did Spain by winning the 2008 Euro Cup and 2010 World Cup.
Does Spain have the luck to win three major international tournaments in a row?
