The new way of looking at horse racing

WILL 007 MAKE A SKYFALL INTO HAPPY VALLEY ON WEDNESDAY?

We don’t have the slightest interest in the pedigree of horses. As long as we back them and they win, that’s all that matters.

Anyway, to racing pundits, like size in sex, pedigree matters and two horses clash in Race 8 on Wednesday whose sires have been quite the studs and produced a number of winning horses in Hong Kong.

These horses are Imperial Rome with Weichong Marwing on the David Ferraris galloper and Zac Purton on Fionn’s Treasure which is drawn barrier 10 over the 1200 metre race and its first start at Happy Valley.

The horse that could upset the pedigree applecart could be a relative newcomer to the stables of Caspar Fownes.

The popular trainer rarely takes in horses from other stables unless he believes he can improve and win with them.

With Brett Prebble booked for the ride, this is a huge tip that Caspar has promised the owners that the horse has a great chance of winning.

And with the new James Bond movie, Skyfall, now showing, My Name Is Bond could be the omen bet of the night.
