The new way of looking at horse racing

WILL MOORE CUT THE OTHER JOHN DOWN TO SIZE?

While Douglas Whyte has his twelfth consecutive Jockeys Premiership all wrapped up, the Trainers title could, say some, go down to the wire.

At one time, it looked like John Size had it in the bag. And though the master horseman has been banging in the winners, John Moore has been banging in his own quote of winners- and with greater regularity and by using top jockeys Brett Prebble and Douglas Whyte.

On Saturday, Moore has a number of runners scattered throughout the card, but with the last race probably holding the most interest.

In this race, he has used his “trump card” to ensure that Silver Grecian gets a start and also has Time After Time in the same race.

Moore has a very good record for using his “trump card” and which is not to say that his other runner can be ignored.

Right now, John Moore is equal third on the Trainers Premiership with Tony Cruz and sure looks like he will move up to second.

From there, it will lead to a battle of the two Johns and one offering Moore and the other offering Size and with the one with most- and best ammunition in all Classes winning.

We still believe that this will be John Size who has any new horses and other coming up the ranks while John Moore has most of his horses in only the top classes.

He doesn’t have the versatility of ammunition that Size has- and why Size always matters.
